Lee Shaffer

Associate Scientist

Lee Shaffer is an Associate Scientist in the Protein and Cellular Engineering group at Sonoma Bio. Before joining, he worked at Adaptive Biotechnologies in their Cellular Research and Innovation group generating antigen-specific T-cell lineages, profiling them, and pairing their TCR chains.

Shaffer received his BS in Molecular Biology from Pacific Lutheran University and worked at the University of Washington following graduation. This lab looked to understand the connection between hypothalamic inflammation and how it impacted the onset of diet-induced obesity in mice.
