Sadaf is an experienced biologist who brings over 9 years of research experience, with an extensive background in immunoncology and pre-clinical models. She earned her Bachelor of Science from UC Davis, majoring in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior. Prior to joining Sonoma, she spent 5 years working in Dr. Jeff Bluestone’s laboratory at UCSF, investigating the role by which liver metastasis reduces anti-tumor immunity and contributes to the resistance of checkpoint immunotherapy — work that led to a publication in Science Immunology. When she is not at work, Sadaf channels her artistic passion and scientific precision through her successful online bakery, the Itty Bitty Patisserie. Sadaf is a member of Sonoma’s in vivo modeling team.
