Sherry began her scientific career in Wendell Lim’s laboratory at UCSF, where she designed genetic circuits using the CRISPR/Cas9 system. After receiving her B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA, Sherry worked as a Staff Research Associate in the Fu and Ptacek Labs at UCSF, using mouse models to better understand the relationship between sleep and various neurodegenerative diseases.
Prior to joining Sonoma, Sherry was a part of the Early Process Development team at Allogene Therapeutics, where she was involved with the optimization of drug product fill and formulation, as well as assay development.
Sherry joined Sonoma in June of 2020, and is part of the pre-clinical team.
